Terms of Service

1. License Grant
Upon purchase, Dbarok Technologies LLC ("Dbarok") grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use Dbarok Abyss Antivirus ("Software") on the number of devices specified by your subscription tier. Personal licenses are for one (1) device. Pro licenses are for up to three (3) devices. Enterprise licenses are governed by a separate agreement.
2. Restrictions
You may not: (a) sublicense, sell, rent, or transfer the Software or your license key to any third party; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except as permitted by applicable law; (c) modify or create derivative works of the Software; (d) use the Software for any unlawful purpose; (e) share your license key publicly.
3. License Keys
License keys are generated once at time of purchase and are tied to your purchase record. Dbarok is not responsible for keys lost, shared publicly, or compromised by the licensee. Duplicate or replacement keys are issued at Dbarok's sole discretion and may require identity verification.
4. Updates and Support
Personal licenses include one (1) year of signature updates from the date of purchase. After this period, the Software continues to function using existing signatures, but will not receive new threat definitions until a renewal is purchased ($9.99/year). Pro and Enterprise subscriptions include updates for the duration of the active subscription period.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DBAROK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL DETECT ALL THREATS, THAT IT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. NO ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE PROVIDES COMPLETE PROTECTION AGAINST ALL THREATS.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DBAROK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING DATA LOSS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. DBAROK'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dbarok Technologies LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms.
8. Refund Policy
Dbarok offers a thirty (30) day money-back guarantee for all Personal and Pro licenses. To request a refund, email support@dbarok.com with your order reference within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are not available after 30 days or after the license key has been activated on a device.
9. Termination
Dbarok may terminate your license immediately upon written notice if you violate any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Open Source Components
Dbarok Abyss incorporates ClamAV, an open-source antivirus engine distributed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 (GPL-2.0). The ClamAV source code is available at https://www.clamav.net. Custom YARA rules, signature extensions, and the Abyss engine wrapper are proprietary to Dbarok Technologies LLC and are not covered by the GPL-2.0 license.
12. Changes to Terms
Dbarok reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to license holders. Continued use of the Software after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
